Twitter short story

Aufgabe:
The task is to create a short story which is made up of several Tweets. This means students can only use a maximum of 140 characters (including spaces and punctuation marks).

It’s dark outside. I am drinking a hot tea because I was freezing when taking my dog out for a walk. My favourite TV show is broadcasting but I just can’t concentrate myself … (Carina)

… because my mobile is ringing the whole time. I`m looking on my phone and I can see that my ex-boyfriend has sent me 3 three messages. My heart starts racing and I get all sweaty ... (Adriana)

… Why is this dumbass writing me? I am getting angry and mute my phone. After a while I look at my phone and see that I've 101 missed calls … (Karoline)

… What is going on? Why so many calls? I am confused. I just wanted to take my dog out for a walk to calm down and to relax but now I can’t stop thinking about him … (Chedine)

… Anyways, I decide to call him back because I have a strange feeling. Now I try to call him. He doesn’t pick up his phone. I realise that something’s not right and I quickly call his brother … (Emily)

… As I am calling his brother, I am getting more and more nervous. What could be so important that he would disturb me like that. Finally, his brother picks up the phone ... (Simon)

… It’s silent. I can only hear my heavy breathing. “Hello? Jake is this you?“ Nothing. If he didn’t want to talk to me, he wouldn’t have to pick up the phone. I always knew that he was a jerk. “Hey, yes it’s me, my service sucks.” (Shanice)

… Oh my god Jake, can I speak to your brother? “Oh euh, Yes.” “Hey Tiffany!” “Why did you call me a thousand times? And why are you texting me all of a sudden? I cannot believe you are coming back now. What is wrong with you? You guys are all damaged!” (Pauline)

... after I hung up because he makes me so angry, I still can’t stop thinking about him. It was so strange to hear his voice again. But why do I still care? ... (Janine)

… maybe I‘m still not over him after all. Ben hurt me so badly I cannot forgive him for that. Why did he call me? It makes everything worse …(Greta)

… I mean, it is worse. He was really important to me and I think he will always be. There are so many things in my head right now, but what shall I do? ... (Jana)

… I decided to call him again after all, I still had no answer to my question. While I was looking for his brother´s number on my mobile the landline phone rang. It was my ex who tried to reach me by phone ... (Pia)

… I picked up the phone. I was angry, but I wanted to have answers! So, I asked him again: “What is going on!?” Silence… Then I heard him with a trembling voice … (Meyssan)

… “Tiffany?“ My anger fades away by the sound of his whisper. “I’m here, what is going on?“, I ask in a careful tone. “My mom… I … I don‘t know what to do.“ … (Johanna)

… “Okay, calm down and tell me everything from the beginning”. I hear him take a deep breath and then he starts to talk. “I came home from Tennis as usual and went to the fridge to get some food” ... (Leonie)

… “But the fridge was empty and I didn´t find anything to eat so I decided to go back upstairs.
As I turned around, I saw something in the corner of my eye, something really scary” … (Hendrik)

… “My mother was lying there, and her right arm was bent unnaturally. I didn't know what had happened and was completely overwhelmed.“… (Michel)

… “I immediately called 911, they are driving her to the hospital right now. I don‘t know what happened. I am so scared!“ His voice cracked at the end and I heard him start crying. I was in shock and had to process what he just said … (Lina)

... I must help him, he can´t be alone now. “Please calm down, I am coming to you now, I´m begging you not to do anything stupid as long as I am not there. The doctors will do their best for your mother.” ... (Kristina)

… “I’ll drive to you as fast as I can!“ F*ck I know he isn’t doing well mentally anyway, and I don’t want to imagine what he will do if he has to deal with the situation on his own. I know him… (Karlotta)

…, another tragedy in his family would be too much. First losing his little sister and now probably his mother. „BAMM" the car rolled over, the airbag exploded, glass splinters flew around and everything turned dark … (Jonas)
